How it works
Ask, wait, talk
Tap to ask for a buddy. The app rings the volunteers who are on duty and connects you to the first one who answers.
Buddies are volunteers who switch themselves on for a few hours at a time, so there will be times when no one is on. If none is, the app tells you and offers other help.
You can ask for a woman buddy, and the app tries women first. You see only a first name, and the call is recorded.
If no one answers
The app falls back to your trusted contacts, then to the helplines. 112 is one tap away during the whole call and while you wait.
For an emergency, call 112 first.
