Verified reports, ready to act on
Reports of dark and unsafe spots in Delhi NCR, with photos and exact locations, sent to the office responsible, followed up and re-checked once fixed.
What arrives
A pack your office can act on
A coordinator sends 1 to 100 spots at a time to one agency. Each spot has one entry, even when many people reported it. Every pack has:
- a cover letter and a summary table;
- one page per spot, with the first photo, the issues, the exact coordinates and a Google Maps link;
- a map file (KML) with every location.
Every report is checked before it is published. The page for each one says if volunteers have verified it in person, with the date, or that it has not been yet. Packs carry no reporter identity.
Your own link
Reply from one link
A coordinator issues a link for one officer. It is valid for 30, 90 or 180 days and can be withdrawn at once. Opening it shows the spots sent to your agency, with the photo, place, reference and your last update.
Mark a spot as Acknowledged, Work started, Fixed or Not ours, with a note and a photo if you like. If it is not yours, say who is responsible.
Public spot pages show what the agency said and when, never the note.
Sending
How reports are sent
A coordinator picks the spots and the agency and sends them by pack, portal, letter, email or social post. The spots move to sent.
Each spot goes to the agencies whose area contains it and whose type fits the issue, such as a lighting problem going to a municipal body. Spots that match no agency are routed by hand.
Follow-ups are due at 15, 30, 45 and 60 days, and a reply clears the ones already due.
After the work
Checking the fix after dark
A fixed report is a claim until volunteers confirm it. Club walk managers are asked to re-check the spot after dark.
A moderator confirms with a volunteer's photo. The spot is then marked fixed and its before and after photos go on its public page.
